Canada Day festivities are shaping up in the local area.
The Town of Espanola and City of Elliot Lake are just two local municipalities that are hosting decorating contests.
People are asked to decorate their yards and their businesses in red and white to mark Canada Day.
Both communities are offering some great prizing to make it all worthwhile.

Espanola is also hosting a patriotic pet photo contest and virtual face painting as well as in-person events at Boogie Mountain.
