Espanola Elks hosting national leader

A long-time dedicated member of the Fraternal Order of Elks will be in Espanola to talk to members about various initiatives headed up by the fraternity.
The Espanola Elks will be hosting their national leader, Ron Potter of Saskatchewan, who has been involved with the organization since 1992.

Local Elk member, Nick Siren, says Potter is dedicated to the main focal group Elks support across Canada; the early identification and rehabilitation of hearing impaired children.

Potter’s theme this year is Looking Back and Moving Forward where he will focus on the work carried out by the organization over the decades.

Siren says the local fraternity will be making a donation as well as present two 50-year pins.

The event will take place the evening of March 27th at the Elks hall.
