Officers with the East Algoma OPP had to respond to an incident at the Elliot Lake courthouse. A woman told police she was assaulted by her boyfriend’s ex-wife while in the building. The victim alleges the incident took place when the former wife left the court room.   A 30-year-old resident of the Serpent River First Nation now faces a charge of assault.
