Con arts net $4,800 in bank scam

A resident of Parry Sound has fallen for a bank scam and is now out $4,800.  The victim was approached by people claiming to represent a security division of a local bank who needed help solving a crime.  They asked the person for $4,800 from their account so they could trace where it goes.  They added once they returned the money they would add $500 as a reward.  The victim gave the cash to the scammers but never saw them or the money again.    Needless to add, the person never got a $500 reward either.
