SPORTS – NOJHL announces 2025-26 schedule

Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced its 2025-26 regular season schedule last Friday.
The 11 competing clubs will play 52-game slate during the campaign in a one-division format.
Each team will play 25 contests at home, another 25 on the road, plus two matchups as part of the annual NOJHL Showcase, which will be held October 7-8 at Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury.
The Blind River Beavers and Espanola Paper Kings will kick off their season against each other on September 12th at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex. (the puck drops at 7:30 pm)
Meanwhile, the Elliot Lake Vikings remain on a leave of absence from the league as their venue, Rogers Arena, remains closed due to ongoing repairs to the facility.
