Long-time Espanola pharmacist retires – another book just released

Lynn Halliday has been synonymous with Robinson’s Pharmacy in downtown Espanola for decades, ending her career with cake and a gathering at the workplace last Friday, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be staying busy.
Not only has Halliday overseen pharmaceutical services at the pharmacy for years, she is also an avid outdoor person, a volunteer with her church, runs a farm and is a published author.
Goat Tails, a series of stories all about life on a family farm on Manitoulin Island, is a romp with all the critters on her farm, especially the goats.
Halliday has also written two other books that describe many of the adventures that she has experienced including Stuck on the Rocks and Finding His Way about her propensity to get into interesting situations when out exploring.
She just released another, Donkey Love, about a quirky donkey, Jantastic, and his adventures.
Retirement will give her more time for writing and giving back the proceeds to church initiatives and children’s camps.
On behalf of the community of Espanola, her co-workers and friends wish her a happy retirement, adding a huge thank you for her many years of service.
