Sister station The Moose 94.1 FM CKNR in Elliot Lake is hosting a radiothon today in support of the Elliot Lake Foodbank.
The radio station will be live throughout the day helping to gather pledges and support for the agency.
The types of donations being sought are school snacks or lunches, nonperishable food items as well as cash with the funds going towards filling the shelves at the facility to feed those in need.
Donations can be made at the radio station at 144 Ontario Avenue, the foodbank at 29 Columbia Drive, No Frills, Esso, and Foodland.
Online and phone donations are also available.
