UPDATED: 3:05 pm Manitoulin OPP sent a correction that the individual involved was released unconditionally.
ORIGINAL: Several Ontario Provincial Police resources were deployed in Mindemoya in response to a weapons call.
On Wednesday, shortly before 10:00 p.m., the Manitoulin OPP responded to a weapons call at a residence on Limberlost Lane.
Shortly before 9:30 a.m. the situation came to a peaceful resolution.
The involved person was arrested and taken to hospital for assessment.
A 27-year-old man from Carnarvon Township has been released unconditionally.
