Vigilante may have shot another bear in Sudbury

Someone may again be shooting bears in Sudbury.  Residents say there was a gunshot in a neighbourhood Sunday night and shortly after that a bear was found seriously injured near a home.  The injuries were severe and authorities had no choice but to put the bear down.  A few weeks ago a bear was shot and left to die in Sudbury.  In that first instance, police were critical of people shooting bears and then letting them suffer.  In this latest incident, they’re looking into whether the gunshot and injured bear are connected.
