Méli-mémots conference a playful learning process

Méli-Mémots is an activity that promotes fantasy poetry and wordplay and this year nearly 350 students will take part  in it under the auspices of the French public-school board.

Communication director Carol Dube says the tournament will involve students from Grade three and up in the three-day event from June 14h to 16th.

She says they will be guided through the process with their poet in residence Antoine Côté Legault.

Dube adds the students will further develop their literacy skills and the three classes with the most points will advance to the Iron Ninja Finals on June 16th where they will face a variety of new challenges.
