Following a request by police in providing information about a hit and run, a Sault Ste. Marie man has been arrested and charged.
Greater Sudbury Police Constable Kaitlyn Dunn says the fatal collision occurred on February 1st near the intersection of Walford Road and Ramsey View Court in Greater Sudbury.
She says a 36-year-old woman died as a result of her injuries.
She says a warrant was executed at a residence in Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday and a truck was seized and a 27-year-old man arrested.
Dunn says he has been charged with failing to stop after an accident resulting in death, obstructing police, and breach.
He appeared in bail court yesterday.
