Members of the Grass Roots Garden Club from Little Current donated to the Manitoulin Health Centre with a donation to the chemotherapy program.
Club spokesperson Maureen Marion says community support is so important in helping to provide
services to those living with or affected by cancer in our area and the club is proud to support the medical centre.
She says the club hosts a plant sale annually the first Saturday of June
Members voted to donate $500 from the proceeds to the program run by the health centre.
