The board of directors of the Manitoulin Health Centre has appointed Paula Fields as the new Chief Executive Officer for both the Little Current and Mindemoya sites.
Chair Dennis McGregor says Fields had been a current interim co-CEO with Tim Vines but will now take over the leadership role on a permanent full-time basis.
He adds Fields comes with plenty of experience having started out in nursing in 1993 and working her way up the ranks.
Fields is thanking everyone who placed their faith in her abilities and leadership, and she’s grateful and looking forward to the challenge.
Her appointment was made official on Friday.
