The City of Elliot Lake is reimplementing one of its programs to help vulnerable people in isolation due to COVID-19.
Economic development manager Steve Antunes (AN-tunes) says starting today at noon, the City of Elliot Lake will offer a grocery shopping and delivery service for community members who are in isolation.
He says the city is working with staff at both Lyle’s No Frills and Foodland to facilitate the service.
Antunes says the service is focused on senior help have groceries and essentials delivered safely to their homes adding it is for those who do not have a local contact or family to shop for them.

• You must select one of these two methods every time you need to make an order.
• You will need to submit your: Name, Address, Phone Number and Payment
Preference
• Please only call once or submit one form each time you need groceries.
• Orders are limited to 20 items of essential needs, at any one time (a 3-4 day
supply).
The Covid 19 pandemic is constantly evolving. The city reserves the right to discontinue
this service or alter terms as needed based on staff and other resource availability.
