Break and enter results in one person charged

An Espanola man is facing charges following a break-in.

Manitoulin OPP Constable Tessa Kasch says on New Year’s Day around 2 pm, police responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on Tudhope Street.

She says the individual had left the scene but was later located by officers and arrested.

A 37-year-old man from Espanola has been charged with break and enter, and mischief.

She adds the accused is to appear in Espanola court on March 7th.
