East Algoma OPP has arrested a Blind River man following a robbery.
OPP Constable Phil Young says on November 28th, shortly after 1 pm police officers were called to a robbery near Woodward Avenue in Blind River.
He says the complainant had reported that a person known to them grabbed a bag off their shoulder while walking.
He adds when the person knew police were called, the bag was dropped, the person fled, and an arrest warrant was issued.
Young adds last Friday a 37-year-old man from Blind River was charged with robbery with intent.
He is to appear in Elliot Lake court on January 6th, 2022.
