A crowd of some 40 people took in the decorating of a special tree yesterday as part of the Black Creek Sno-Trail festivities.
Jolene Courtemanche encouraged the public to come out on the wheel-chair accessible trail to decorate Christmas trees for the holiday.
The occasion was used to highlight the features along the trail and for the presentation of a $2,000 cheque from the Espanola Lions Club and Espanola Gardeners for enhancements.
Volunteer Dennis Lendrum who led the project says the Rick Hansen Foundation will be grading the trail when they come for a visit to be part of the movement for accessibility to all.
