The city of Elliot Lake is set to get the party started for their 60th Anniversary Celebration. Saturday is a full day of fun and entertainment for the entire family. The Block Buster Yard Sale gets under way at the Civic Center and Centennial Arena parking lot from 8am to noon. Starting at Noon in the parking lot of Centennial Arena it’s the Western Jamboree.
The 60th Anniversary Parade gets under at noon from the Lester B. Pearson Centre. A classic car show takes place in the arena parking lot starting at 1pm and that is followed by the Bed Race Challenge getting under way at 2.30pm starting from Central Avenue.
