Algoma Public Health has issued a swimming advisory for Sellers Park Beach and Old Mill Beach in Blind River.
According to the release, water samples taken on August 9 contained high levels of bacteria and when sample results return to safe levels, the advisory will be removed.
The agency says the advisories do not close the beach or stop people from swimming, but they may suffer skin, eye, nose or throat infections or stomach illness if water is swallowed.
