Espanola celebrated its seniors in a COVID-19 safe way.
Espanola EDO Cheryl Kennelly says a take-out luncheon was put together with the help of several volunteers last Friday and with home delivery today for those who were unable to attend.
Seniors were invited to attend the recreation centre at specific times to ensure their safety and receive their complimentary lunches.
Kennelly says well over 100 local seniors received the lunches as a token of appreciation from the town for their years of contributions to the community.
