OPP execute drug warrant-three arrested

The East Algoma OPP has arrested three men in connection to a drug raid on the Mississauga First Nation.

OPP Constable Bev Gauthier says yesterday morning around 7:00,  police executed a search warrant at a residence on Park Road in the First Nation just west of Blind River.

She says a search of the residence led to police finding of suspected crack cocaine and crystal meth, drug paraphernalia, cellphones and over $400 in cash. The value of the drugs seized is around $6000.

Two 18-year-olds from Scarborough and a 15-year-old from Blind River have each been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Gauthier adds all three were given bail and are to be back in Blind River court in early April.
