Vale contract lucrative for miners

That contract Steelworkers in Port Colborne and Sudbury signed with Vale, is pretty lucrative.  The five year deal includes a $4,500 signing bonus for workers.  Wages increase $2.20 over the life of the deal and pensions were also improved.  By the time the contract ends, the monthly pension for a 30-year Vale worker will be nearly $3,800 dollars.  Most miners turned out for the ratification and voted heavily in favour of the deal.
