A dogcatcher doing her job in Sudbury was assaulted by a man and woman. The officer caught a loose dog in the Dowling area and put the pooch in an animal control vehicle. No sooner had she done this when the dog-owners confronted the city employee, told her the dog was theirs, assaulted her and took the animal. Police have charged the pair with assault and theft under five thousand dollars.
