Positive COVID-19 in Algoma District

The Algoma District has another positive case of COVID-19.
Algoma Public Health says it is the 24th case and is in the Sault Ste. Marie area.
Of the 24, 22 have been resolved.
Public Health Sudbury & District had two new cases last week, both in Greater Sudbury, bringing the total to 66 with 62 resolved and two fatalities, which occurred earlier in the year.
Health units across Northeastern Ontario have conducted 71,265 tests as of Sunday.
Health units across the region are as follows:
Public Health Sudbury and District: 66 cases, 62 resolutions, two deaths
Northwestern Health Unit: 30 cases, 25 resolutions
Algoma Public Health: 24 cases, 22 resolutions
Porcupine Health Unit: 66 cases, 57 resolutions, 8 deaths
Timiskaming Health Unit: 18 cases, 18 resolutions
North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit: 30 cases, 28 resolutions, one death
Thunder Bay District Health Unit: 89 cases, 82 resolutions, one death
