The Ontario government has shut down provincial parks.
Environment, Conservation and Parks Minister Jeff Yurek says all parks had to be vacated yesterday.
He says the parks will be closed to the public until April 30th including all car camping, backcountry camping, roofed accommodations and all public buildings.
Yurek adds any person or group with a reservation for arrival up to April 30th will be given a full refund.
The directive applies to Mississagi, Chutes and Fairbanks provincial parks in our local area.Â
