A solidarity rally in support of the hereditary chiefs of Wetsuwet’en slowed down traffic at the intersection of Highway 6 and 17.
Some 50 supporters of the chiefs, including Spirit Bear Drum, held the solidarity rally Saturday afternoon with the Manitoulin OPP assisting with traffic control.
Organizer Quinten Kaboni says the participants are proud of the support and patience shown by motorists and other supporters.
