A Manitoulin Island man is facing arson charges.
Manitoulin OPP Constable Marie Ford says police investigated two separate structure fires last Thursday, one in Gordon Township, the second in Robinson Township.
She adds both structures were unoccupied at the time.
Ford says a 36-year-old Robinson Township man has been charged with three counts of arson, two in connection with the structural fires and a third involving a burnt-out vehicle at an abandoned gravel pit in the township.
The man is to appear in Gore Bay court on March 18th.Â
