The City of Elliot Lake has presented its annual Elliot Lake Civic Award for 2019 to the principal of a local high school.
Elliot Lake Secondary School Principal Rick Juuti was honoured as the recipient of the city’s highest Civic Award Thursday night at Elliot Lake’s Annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet, held at the Collins Hall.
City Mayor Dan Marchisella presented the award to Juuti for his volunteer work with the Elliot Lake Aquatic Club and his mentorship of young people.
