Elliot Lake’s mayor is not concerned about a one-week postponement for a major music fest.
Atomic Music Fest is being organized by AstroRabbit Entertainment promoter, Corey Mackenzie, who has moved the event from next weekend to later in August at the Mount Dufour Ski Hill.
Mayor Dan Marchisella says a postponement is better than cancellation and the promoter needs a bit more time to put some logistics in place with changing the venue from the airport to the ski hill.
Mackenzie has booked 16 live acts in all ranging from rock and roll to country to heavy metal.
Mackenzie is also asking for the public to have patience before contacting his office for refunds.
