The Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre back yard is abuzz with activity.
The work is continuing on the construction of the Espanola Therapeutic Garden, an enclosed safe place for residents of the hospital’s long-term care residence.
The gazebos, sheds and walkways are almost complete with the next stage being the design of the shrubbery and plants.
Thanks to the staff at Espanola Home Hardware, the $400 they raised through a barbecue will go towards purchasing some of that greenery.
A grand opening of the new space is planned for the fall.
