Police not giving up on Sweeney murder case

Sudbury police have re-examined a jacket left behind at a murder scene 17 years ago.  It was this week in 1998 that Renee Sweeney of Sudbury was murdered and police say they haven’t given up trying to find her killer.  Advanced DNA techniques that weren’t around in 1998 are being used to re-examine the jacket.  They believe the perpetrator left it behind.    Past evidence links the jacket to the crime scene and police say it’s the most reliable piece of evidence they have.
