A driver is dead following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 69 Friday evening.
Motorists had to wait several hours before the West Parry Sound Police re-opened the highway.
Police added fire and emergency medical services had to also attend the scene where a single commercial motor vehicle hit a rock cut and caught fire near Flicker Road.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and identity has not been released.
The investigation continues.
