The bill has come in for legal fees for Espanola, including the Integrity Commissioner investigation carried out in 2018 in Espanola, and it is a hefty one.
Legal fees totaling nearly $193,500 were paid out to town lawyer, Paul Cassan.
The brunt of the costs, just over $80,000, was for the Integrity Commissioner’s investigation and nearly $93,000 involved Occupational Health & Safety Act issues.
The Human Rights Tribunal cost was another $6,500 and the in-house counsel agreement, $6,700.
