The health centre in Blind River has evacuated its patients and residents until the roof has been cleared of ice and snow.
The partial evacuation of the Acute Care and Long-Term Care units of the North Shore Health Network Blind River site took place over the weekend.
Education & Safety Coordinator, Melanie Kubatlija, says it is not known how long the partial evacuation will last.
She says emergency services are still available and the Emergency Department remains open.
She adds Outpatient Laboratory, Medical Imaging and Physiotherapy appointments have been cancelled this week and there will be no outpatient services provided until further notice.
Work is underway to clear the roof of snow and ice obstructions.
