Lyse-Anne Papineau, the Director of Education of the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario says the board will proceed with the selection of a school board trustee to represent constituents living in North Shore’s Zone 1.
She says the decision stems from the resignation of Gabriel Tremblay who had been elected in the fall.
Zone 1 is a fairly large area and includes Espanola, Spanish, Elliot Lake and Blind River.
Papineau adds interested individuals can submit their resume by 4:00pm, Thursday, January 17th.
