Yesterday morning, Mississauga First Nation Police and East Algoma OPP responded to a call from the reserve where a complainant reported a man had pointed a firearm at him after a verbal argument between the two.
A 45-year-old man from Mississauga First Nation was charged with: pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, eight counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order; possession of weapon for dangerous purpose and four counts of failing to comply with recognizance.
The accused appeared in bail court yesterday.
