The grand opening of Espanola High School not only featured a ribbon-cutting but also two cakes to symbolize both schools coming together. That’s because A.B. Ellis is now under the EHS roof but in a different part of the building to keep the high school students separate from the younger boys and girls. The event featured quite a few school board personnel including the education director and board chair.
