Sudbury police want to thank a Good Samaritan after he stopped an assault on a woman. A woman was being hit when an unknown man intervened. The woman was injured and was admitted to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The Good Samaritan left the scene and police have no idea who he is. They want to thank the man if he’ll call them. Police have not said if they arrested anyone connected with the assault.
