The driver of a motorbike in Espanola has serious injuries after a pick-up truck side swiped him. The crash took place near the entrance of the Espanola Mall on Centre. Both the truck and bike were heading north on Centre Street when the pick-up changed lanes and contacted the motorbike. The collision threw the driver and his passenger to the ground.  The passenger wasn’t too badly hurt. The pick-up driver, a 21-year-old man from Mindemoya, is charged with failure to change lanes safely as well as having no insurance.
