Monitor closing store front

After nearly four decades, the Mid-North Monitor in Espanola is closing its store front office.  However the paper will continue to produce both its hard copy and online version.  Under the restructuring, the Monitor’s reporter and sales person will operate from their homes.  The change though sees the layoff of one person and that’s Helen Morley who’s been with the paper for 18 years.  Morley ran the day-to-day operations of the Monitor which will continue to be printed in Toronto.
