Driver’s license fees are going up this week. As of September 1st, the dollar amount goes from $81.50 to $90 for new or license renewals. Also, the vehicle license validation fee goes up to $60 in the north and that’s up from the current $54. The province is justifying the increases to pay for transportation infrastructure.
