The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is on the lookout for the perpetrators of two forest fires in the northeast. The first fire was by Lake Nipissing, southwest of Wigwum Bay and the second fire was on the Red Squirrel Lake road north of Temagami. Both fires were lit within days of each other during the first week of August. They were also both about a half hectare in size by the time they were discovered.
