It was a healthy turnout for Lumberjack Days at Mississagi Provincial Park. Nearly 1,300 people took in the two-day event north of Elliot Lake that featured forestry-related competitions and games. They included axe throwing, chain saw and cross cut saw contests. For the kids there was face painting as well as minnow races and boat rides.
