Job numbers down: Fedeli reacts

At a time when job numbers should be up, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says instead, unemployment is rising in Ontario.  Fedeli says Ontario lost 36,000 full and part-time jobs right at the height of construction and tourism season.  Fedeli says what’s caused the lower job numbers are the Wynne Liberals’ job-killing policies.

He says Ontario has the highest electricity rates in all of North America, the highest payroll taxes across Canada and soon the cap and trade tax will kick in which includes a tax on the tax.   Fedeli says Ontario had a few good months where jobs grew and the Liberals were crowing about that.   He says it will be interesting to see how they spin last Friday’s job drop.
