Regional Chief says women’s inquiry will fall short

Although he welcomes the federal inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women, Ontario’s Regional Chief says it falls short.  Isadore Day says missing from the inquiry is an examination of how police agencies looked into these type of cases.  It’s a complaint many First Nation people are making the same day the inquiry was announced.  Day says people want justice and corrections made in investigations that are now cold cases.
