Ontario Parks challenging the public to get outside

The Ontario government and Ontario Parks is challenging people across the province to spend more time outside to develop new healthy habits. Ontario Parks is encouraging people to take part in the 30 by 30 nature challenge.

This year’s challenge begins in August and requires you to spend 30 minutes outside for 30 days. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry say research shows that interacting with nature is good for both physical and mental health.
