Sagamok-Anishnawbek First Nation Chief, Paul Eshkakogan, has been acclaimed to the office for another term. Five people had declared they would run for the top spot, but all withdrew their campaign when Eshkakogan announced he would run again. There will still be an election for 12 spots on the band council. The election is set for August 15th.
