Gelinas pushing for action to clean up mercury in the Grassy River First Nation

The provincial NDP are critical of Liberal inaction to remove mercury from a remote First Nation in Northwestern Ontario. And Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas is joining the New Democratic chorus to remediate the English-Wabigoon River.

Gelinas says the residents of the Grassy River First Nation have dealt with mercury contaminants for more than four decades. Gelinas says the Wabigoon could have been cleaned up long ago if the Liberals stopped making excuses for why mercury is still in the water.
