Former island constable charged

One of the officers charged in a fraud scandal involving the OPP’s union is a former constable with the Little Current OPP.  Martin Bain was vice president of the police association.  Along with two other senior officers, the 50-year-old is charged with money laundering and fraud over five thousand dollars.  The RCMP charged the trio after a 19-month investigation.  News of the scandal has rocked the police association.  The three appear in court in Toronto July 18th.
