There will be no fireworks show in Espanola or Elliot Lake on Canada Day. The ongoing fire ban has forced both communities to cancel Friday night’s event. At this time, there is no re-scheduled date. Fire conditions remain extreme and a total fire ban, except for gas barbeques remains in place as the region continues to experience dry weather.
